KHS BAND AMBASSADOR SCHOLARSHIP
The KEARNEY BAND PARENTS ASSOCIATION will award up to two scholarships, valued at $150.00 each, to two graduating senior band members, to be used at the university, college or technical school of his/her choice.
To be eligible: 1). The senior must have been in KHS band for 5 semesters. 2). Candidates must show good leadership abilities, music skills, enthusiasm and school spirit (someone who is a real band ambassador!).
The SUNSHINE TRAVEL COMPANY will award two scholarships, valued at $150.00 each, to two graduating senior band members, to be used at the university, college or technical school of his/her choice. In addition to the above eligibility, senior applicants must have traveled to Chicago in May of 2006 on the KHS band trip to qualify for consideration for one of these two scholarships.
The KHS BAND AMBASSADOR SCHOLARSHIPS awarded by the Kearney Band Parents Association and the SUNSHINE TRAVEL COMPANY SCHOLARSHIPS can not be awarded to the same senior band member.

Scholarship winners will be announced at the KHS Band Banquet May 10, 2008. All applications must be filled in using Word. A resume may be attached to the email, but is not required.
